If you hit the power switch on your Storinator and the unit will not come on it is possible the power switch is not working properly. This is a procedure to test the switch.
- Remove the connectors for the power switch as pictured above and expose the power switch pins.
- Make contact with the two pins by touching them with the tip of a screwdriver. Be careful not to touch anything else on the motherboard.
- If the machine powers up then the switch needs placing. If it does not, then most likely you need to replace the power supply that powers the mother board.
- If the new power supply does not start the system it is most likely that you need to replace the motherboard.
