Customers have asked what are wired back planes?

Well the answer is simple, the storiator utilizes a direct connection between the HBA cards and each drive. This connections is facilitated by use of 1 8087 connector fanout 8482 cables. The 8482 connectors need a surface to connect to, so we use a metal plate to screw these connectors to. These metal plate and wire harness assemblies are the wired back planes.
