To Lock out the boot drive to prevent from accidental wipes:

- Open KillDisk, click the Gear button in the upper right corner to open settings

- Check the box labelled "Exclude the System Disk from Local Device List"

- Close and reopen KillDisk and you will see your boot drive is no longer present.
